Overview:


The SportzSoft System is used by OLA (both field and box) players to register online. Clubs process registrations and validate them. They are then validated by the zone and then the OLA. Once this is complete, the member can login to their account and print off their receipt which has all the same information as the old paper forms.

 * Season setup is now pushed to clubs from the governing body level. There is no need to copy a season forward as it will be done for the club at the OLA level.

FAQ's

  1. Goto Settings > Settings > Online Processing > Online Registrations
  2. Member portal URL is listed at top of this page and it can be clicked to open the member portal in your computers default browser
  1. Open Products Management and Click the NEW button to create a new product
  2. Specify the type of product (i.e. Sports Registration versus Volunteer Registration)
  3. Name the product and set all appropriate properties such as season, effective date, cutoff date, flags, fees and what age
    group it should be associated to
  4. SAVE the product to the server (saving does not occur automatically and MUST be done prior to perform approval)
  5. Goto the Product Authorization tab within the main tab called Details
  6. Click the "Request Approval Now" button and then advise OLA via a OLA ticket or email that you have product(s) waiting to be approved
  7. The product will be viewable within the Member Portal once the OLA has approved it (as long as your effective date is satisfied)
  1. Make sure your cursor/focus is on the Products grid within Products Management
  2. Click the right mouse button and select “Inactivate multiple products…” option
  3. Select a season such as 2021 Box Season and then click the InActivate Products button (this will set the active flag to false for all products of that specified season)
  1. On occasion a modal window (modal means it has focus and no other windows of the application can be accessed such as OK CANCEL dialog) becomes hidden – it is there but it is behind the main window
  2. Click the ALT TAB keys together to present all open windows and then repeatedly click ALT TAB to select any window open on your system including a hidden dialog
  1. Select the registration within the Admin (win32 only) system and make sure you are viewing the full registration view (versus the more simplistic registration panel)
  2. Select "Change Registration Product..." within the Options menu on that registration.
  3. The change product dialog will appear and allow you to select which product to switch to.
  4. If the product is not listed use the "Include Inactive Products" checkbox to reload the product dropdown with products that are no longer active by effective/cutoff dates (please note this will not include products you have specifically flagged as NOT active)
  5. Select the product and then click Ok to confirm the switch.
  6. Note that all validations will be cleared for the product and the fees will be reassessed (a refund may be necessary if a credit balance results)
  7. Please also note that the OLA controls whether or not the "Include Inactive Products" checkbox is available to you.
