Volunteer Activities
Volunteer Activities can be two types - Volunteer Positions or Volunteer Activities.  As members sign up for programs, they can be asked to earn a certain number of volunteer points.  Administrators setup Volunteer Positions and Activities, and then assign a point value to each.  As members register for programs, they are then presented with the total number of volunteer points they much earn as well as a list of Positions and Activities to choose from.

Volunteer Positions are positions such as Board Members, Coordinators, Coaches, Managers and Trainers.  Volunteer Positions are assigned a certain number of 'points' and are normally completed by volunteers over the course of a sport 'season'.

Volunteer Activities are usually more specific 'events' such as bingos, casinos, concessions or facility maintenance shifts.  For each of these events, individual shifts can be setup with the appropriate number of points assigned to each.  For example, you may setup an 'Arena Concession Volunteer' and then setup shifts from Monday to Friday, 6pm - 9pm from Sept 1 to Dec 23rd.  The system would generate a shift for each date and show registrants the available dates they could sign up for.  The system allows you to set how many points per shift as well as how many volunteers you need per shift.
