It is SportzSoft Solutions‘ policy that personal information, such as your name, home addresses and e-mail addresses or telephone number are private and confidential. Accordingly, the personal information you provide is stored in a secure location, and is accessible only by the designated staff, and used only for the purposes for which you provided the information. All personal information is collected and managed in compliance with section 33 (c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act, as well as the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
There are no circumstances under which we will provide or sell personal information to third parties. Our computer is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about its visitors. It does recognize the home server of the visitors but not e-mail addresses. For example, we can tell which Internet Service Provider our visitors use, but not the names, addresses or other information about our visitors that would allow us to specifically identify visitors to our sites. In addition, our web site tracks information about the visits to our web site. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our web site, the daily requests we receive and what countries those requests come from. These aggregated statistics are used internally and externally to provide better services to our customers. But again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
Certain features of the SportzSoft Solutions system allow users to access and change their own personal information. If you do not have such access through your organization, then you must contact the administrator of your sport organization and they can change your personal information for you. As a part of the confidentiality agreement we have with our clients (i.e. the sport organizations), we will not access, change or modify the personal information of its members.
